Here we conducted a limited field survey of the existing roof structure. We analyzed existing load capacities at locations of recent roof openings. Compared estimated actual loads and design loads with the placement and replacement of several 30-ton roof top units and the relocation to determine if reinforcements are necessary. Attachments for humidifiers were near the new roof top units were designed. Also we designed to reinforce openings at beams as necessary to account for the revised loading of the roof top units. Lastly concrete strengthening due to roof openings and additional loading was installed
On this project we conducted a field survey of the existing area in coordination with the Client and the Owner. We did an engineering analysis to determine the adequacy of the existing framing and foundation. The framing and connections to support a new BFP Assembly enclosure addition was designed and specified to match the existing foundation of the facility.
